Search engines generate the results based on keywords entered as search string. Sometimes, these keywords do not match with the title of the research article, resulting in not including the research article in the Search result. This is due to using the similar meaning words in the title of research articles. The performance of the Search engine can be enriched by considering the sematic relations of Keywords entered as search string. The paper proposed a novel method that explores the semantic relation synonym of the Keywords entered as Search string, to generate the alternate Search strings for research articles. The generated alternate Search strings can aid in enhancing the Search engine results by including the research articles in the result having similar meaning words in the title. The experimental results show that proposed method succeeded in generating 7 new Search strings by replacing one keyword and 21 new Search strings by replacing two Keywords of the original string with its synonyms. The generated alternate strings were searched and analyzed for 840 research articles and result shows that Search string generated using proposed method prospered in generating 65 unique search results.
