Offshore wind turbine foundations represent a typical seismic vulnerability in structural design. Due to the challenges of maintenance in offshore projects, the structural performance of offshore wind turbine foundations is a critical factor for assessing both the safety and economic feasibility. In consideration of the characteristics of offshore wind turbine foundations, a seismic performance standard and assessment criteria are established for these structures. An evaluation of the seismic performance of a typical single-column composite caisson foundation in the eastern waters of Guangdong Province, China, is conducted. The findings can serve as valuable references for design professionals engaged in the seismic analysis and research for offshore wind energy projects.

摘要
