It highlights the role of soil conservation techniques such as contour farming, terrace farming, use of cover crops which contributes in the reduction of soil erosion, improvement of soil structure and increased carbon sequestration. It illustrates the various climate smart agricultural practices and explicates the significance of nutrient management for sustainable agriculture. The integration of modern technology and technological innovations such as precision agriculture, utilizing drones, satellites and biotechnology is also discussed. The role of policy frameworks and government incentives in supporting sustainable agricultural practices is also highlighted, along with the importance of community engagement and education.
