Looking beyond single technologies, this chapter explores hybrid energy systems and co-location: floating solar woven through offshore wind arrays to boost power density, share infrastructure, and smooth output; aquaculture–energy synergies that turn platforms into multi-use hubs; and renewable-powered waystations at sea supplying charging and green fuels for maritime decarbonization. It then turns to the digital backbone—embedded sensing, predictive digital twins, and robotic inspection and repair—that underwrites reliability and enables operations and maintenance through condition monitoring, condition-based maintenance, and progressive automation.

摘要
