The chapter evaluates the literature on the relationship between school climate and wellbeing, highlighting theoretical and conceptual issues, recent empirical perspectives, and educational policies and interventions. The chapter is organized into five main sections. The first section presents the theoretical frameworks that describe the relationship between the two concepts, the school climate and wellbeing. It also presents the components of the two concepts and the closely related variables identified by the literature. The second section discusses the involvement of socio-demographic factors in the context of the link between elements of school climate and psychological wellbeing, as experienced by different participants in the educational activity (students, teachers, managers, etc.). The third part of the chapter presents data from recent research on the mediating variables that intervene in the relationship between school climate and wellbeing. Section four presents a series of educational policies and interventions that have promoted and sustained school wellbeing by improving the educational climate. The final section of the chapter highlights the future directions for research and intervention that directly address the relationship between school climate and wellbeing.

摘要
