Transition from Early Education to Primary School in Hungary: Insights from National and Global Standpoints in the Twenty-First Century
摘要
This chapter provides insights into the transition from early childhood education to primary school in Hungary from both national and global perspectives in the twenty-first century. It begins by presenting Hungary’s global stance on early childhood education and care. Subsequently, the chapter explores the national context, structured into three main parts: a concise overview of early childhood education in Hungary, a comprehensive review of national research on school transitions during the first 25 years of the twenty-first century, and a summary of research and practices concerning key principles for designing and implementing transition to school programs. This chapter serves as a valuable resource for educators, researchers, and stakeholders in Hungary and beyond, providing essential insights for enhancing educational practices and policies.
