The article analyzes the role of visualization as an educational technology, including a set of techniques, in the context of increasing motivation and social adaptation of students in the learning process and environment. Visualization is presented as a powerful tool and strategy for improving assimilation of educational information and optimizing cognitive processes such as attention, memory, and thinking. The authors emphasize the importance of various visualization techniques—infographics, mental maps, scribing, and timelines—as means of increasing academic motivation and contributing to the social adaptation of students in an educational environment. The results of a survey, empirical study, and research experiment involving students in the fields of psychology and regional studies confirmed that the use of visualization helps improve the perception of educational information and increase motivation, as well as assist integration into the social environment. The results of the experiment revealed that the difference in visualization of abstract concepts in graphic diagrams and specific objects in visual illustrative images leads to positive changes: activation of cognitive interest; development of the ability to analyze and compare; the ability to generalize and build logical conclusions; development of critical thinking, fantasy, and imagination; and adaptation to the study group and the educational process. The authors conclude that the integration of visualization methods into the educational process can significantly increase its effectiveness, contributing not only to the cognitive but also to the social development of students.

摘要
