Book: Different versions of “Little Red Riding Hood”, both popular (i.e., original versions) and literary fairy tales (i.e., newer versions). Here is suggested the following popular fairy tales: “The Story of Grandmother”, which is a reconstructed version of the fairy tale, and the version of the Brothers Grimm (1812), and the following literary fairy tale: Roald Dahl’s “Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf” (1982). All versions are available in English and in several other languages. A variety of versions can be found in Jack Zipes’ The Trials & Tribulations of Little Red Riding Hood (1993) and in Sandra Beckett’s Revisioning Red Riding Hood around the World. An Anthology of International Retellings (2014).
