Evaluation and Optimization of Investment Efficiency in Chinese Agricultural Wholesale Markets under Three-Stage DEA Model
摘要
This study evaluates investment efficiency of A Agricultural Wholesale Market using three-stage DEA methodology. We employ fixed asset proportion, human resources, and operating costs as inputs; revenue and asset growth rates as outputs; and regional GDP growth, primary industry concentration, and market size as environmental variables. Results reveal that traditional DEA overestimated the market’s comprehensive, technical, and scale efficiencies during 2020–2024, indicating substantial improvement potential. Our analysis identifies key efficiency constraints and proposes targeted strategies: optimizing external environment utilization, enhancing governance mechanisms, strengthening financial management, and promoting industry collaboration. This research provides valuable reference for agricultural wholesale market efficiency improvement.
