All nationalisms, at their core, are about who is on the team and who is not. Nationalism, then, by necessity is exclusionary. It can then extend easily into bias. This chapter examines the propensity of Jewish nationalist Israelis to express prejudice against Palestinians, non-Jews, and immigrants. They are favorable towards more religious Jews. The chapter documents their attendant interest in controlling domains like immigration, neighorhood diversity, and marriage.
