This case report presents a 35-year-old woman who presented with chronic migraines that progressed to status migrainosus. Her migraines, characterized by severe aura symptoms including visual disturbances and sensory changes, were unresponsive to conventional therapies. The patient notes that before the current episode, she had been experiencing episodic headaches two to three times a month, always triggered by stress and sleep deprivation. Her episodes typically lasted between 12 and 24 h, but never exceeded 48 h. Over the past 24 h, she reported increasing difficulty sleeping due to persistent pain and nausea and had vomited twice. Despite taking anti-inflammatory and analgesic medications, there was no improvement in her headache.
