In the context of global environmental change, there is a growing concern about the impact of traditional tourism on ecosystems, so the search for responsible tourism practices aimed at minimizing environmental damage, supporting local communities, and promoting social responsibility are key aspects of maintaining a sustainable tourism ecosystem. The purpose of the study is to identify current trends in the development of responsible tourism and assess the effectiveness of its impact on the preservation of a sustainable tourism ecosystem. The object of the study is the process of identifying the features of responsible tourism and determining its impact on the balanced economic, social and environmental development of tourism activities. The study outlines the conceptual framework of responsible tourism, analyzes its key principles and the relationship with ecological and regenerative tourism. The main trends in the development of responsible tourism and its impact on environmental conservation and support for local communities, the role of environmental awareness in the development of ecotourism are identified. It is proved that the introduction of responsible practices in tourism activities contributes not only to minimizing the negative impact on the environment, but also to the active restoration of ecosystems, support for local communities, responsible use of resources, and the formation of knowledge for a conscious attitude towards the environment. The effectiveness of the regenerative tourism concept depends on systemic changes in the functioning and management of tourism and cooperation with all stakeholders. The implementation of European Union initiatives and financing mechanisms as part of a comprehensive strategy to promote responsible tourism practices for the preservation and restoration of the natural environment is considered. A mechanism for implementing a responsible tourism development strategy has been developed, the application of which contributes to the formation of environmental and social awareness of tourists to form a sustainable environmentally balanced and socially oriented ecosystem. Effective management and a strategic approach will make tourism an important tool not only for economic growth, but also for preserving the planet and improving human well-being.
