This chapter reviews the main historical milestones of orofacial myofunctional therapy (OMT) and its application in obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). It subsequently analyzes the most relevant systematic reviews and meta-analyses published up to January 2025. Finally, it includes our personal experience and contribution to the management of the hypotonic OSA phenotype.
