Amazon’s Financial Fortress: A Dual Perspective Using the Altman Z-Score and Dupont Framework
摘要
A comprehensive review of financial statement analysis is required to determine a company’s financial condition, position, and overall performance. This research investigates key financial indicators like Altman Z-Score and DuPont Analysis, two popular financial models. Profitability, Solvency, effectiveness, and risk of bankruptcy. Edward Altman developed the Altman Z-Score in 1968. It is a predictive model that assesses financial distress by looking at key financial ratios and provides an early warning about likely company collapses. The Dupont analysis, which was established in 1914, allows for a more detailed assessment of a company’s operational efficiency, financial leverage, and overall profitability by segmenting Return on Equity (ROE) into Net Profit Margin, Asset Turnover, and Equity Multiplier. In this study, we utilize a combination of different analysis methods to form a comprehensive view of financial performance by identifying trends, strengths, and risks in the business’s financial performance to determine the key factors of success and opportunities for advancement. The output of the analysis is critical to the managers, shareholders, and investors as they can better improve financial stability over the long term through informed financial decisions and strategic planning. The inclusion of finance analysis tools and frameworks provides an all-encompassing approach to financial analysis that allows organizations to mitigate risks, maximize financial risk exposure, and create sustained growth in the complex landscape of the global market.
