Despite its benefits, BIA adoption in Jordanian SMEs remains limited, with little empirical research on its key drivers and barriers. This study examines the impact of relative advantage, top management support, IT staff’s technical knowledge, and employees’ IS knowledge on BIA adoption in Jordanian SMEs. All hypotheses were supported, confirming that BIA adoption is influenced by perceived benefits, leadership support, IT expertise, and employees’ IS knowledge. Organizational commitment, technical proficiency, and employee readiness are key to successful implementation. This study provides SMEs with a roadmap for BIA adoption, informs policymakers on supportive strategies, and guides technology providers in addressing SMEs’ challenges.
