Despite extensive research on artificial intelligence (AI) in banking, its impact on decision quality remains underexplored, particularly in Jordan. While previous studies have examined AI’s role in banking operations and lending, they have not comprehensively assessed its effectiveness in improving decision-making. This study investigates the impact of AI technologies on decision quality in Jordanian banks. It specifically examines the influence of machine learning, natural language processing, expert systems, and computer vision on decision-making, providing empirical evidence on AI's effectiveness in enhancing banking decision quality. The findings confirm that AI significantly improves decision quality within Jordanian banks. This study provides valuable insights for banks, policymakers, and AI developers.
