The false dichotomy of Nature-Nurture has been addressed for over half a century. With the astoundingly rapid rise of RNA research, the absurdity of dualistic thinking has been made manifest by the plasticity and adaptability of RNA in all its forms. The genetic determinism thinking of the age of DNA has been supplanted by the developmental interactionism of the age of RNA, the magic molecule. Epigenetics permeates boundaries between genetics and environment. The epigenetic process of endless interaction and flow consists of DNA, RNA, and specific environmental triggers during the lifelong development of the organism, and even across generations.
