The present article describes a study conducted in rural educational institutions in the municipality of San Antero, Colombia, using the MICMAC and MACTOR software to analyze the influence of ICT on educational processes. The objective is to identify the actors and factors that can positively or negatively impact educational quality, aiming to contribute to its improvement. Various aspects are examined, such as structural barriers and limited perceptions of ICT in rural contexts, with the purpose of promoting educational innovation and benefiting the student as the central axis of the process. The importance of comprehensively addressing these aspects is emphasized, involving multiple actors and focusing on both technological infrastructure and teacher training. This holistic approach is essential to achieve effective integration of ICT in rural educational institutions, thereby enhancing the quality of education in these areas.
