This chapter presents global citizenship as the core of the DIGICOMPASS Junior framework for upper primary learners. Grounded in plurilingualism, the compass integrates four directions—Digital Literacy (North), Inclusive Practices (East), Intercultural Competence (South), and Awareness of Social Strategies (West). Each direction helps students navigate interdependent contexts: North fosters safe, ethical, and creative digital engagement; East builds belonging through flexible, inclusive design; South nurtures empathy and cultural curiosity; and West develops reflection, collaboration, and responsible participation. Rather than a separate goal, global citizenship is embedded in routines, collaboration, and everyday tasks. In practice, the framework helps students see themselves as citizens whose actions matter—locally and globally.

摘要
