The rapid evolution of cyber threats, including advanced persistent threats, zero-day vulnerabilities and ransomware attacks, requires a paradigm shift in cyber security strategies. Traditional cyber threat intelligence frameworks and digital forensics and incident response frameworks have been effective, but they often operate independently, leading to inefficiencies and delayed responses to complex threats. This chapter describes a unified artificial-intelligence-enhanced framework that bridges the gaps of the individual frameworks by offering tailored solutions for diverse organizational needs. The unified framework integrates proactive threat intelligence and reactive digital forensics and incident response, bridging independent operations and enhancing realtime adaptability. Ethical governance is embedded throughout the framework, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations, transparency and accountability in artificial-intelligence-driven processes. It enhances scalability, adaptability and ethical alignment by accommodating organizations at different stages of cyber security maturity. Also, it empowers organizations to transition from reactive to proactive security measures, reduces redundancies and addresses the dynamic nature of modern cyber threats.
