This qualitative chapter examines the lived experiences of Caribbean lecturers who integrate group work into tertiary classrooms, using narrative inquiry and thematic analysis. Four major themes emerged: Enhanced Learning, Diversity, Issues of Assessment, and Social Facilitation, Loafing, and Dominance. Subthemes included Collaborative Learning, Reciprocity, Conflicts, Group Dissolution, Group Size, and Tribalism. Assessment proved the most complex, encompassing debates on product versus process, grading fairness, peer evaluation, and presentation. Social dynamics highlighted both the benefits of facilitation and challenges of loafing and dominance. In total, four themes, twelve subthemes, and nine sub-subthemes were identified, offering layered insights into how culture, context, and pedagogy shape group work in Caribbean higher education.
