This chapter presents qualitative findings from interviews with seven veteran educators on group work in Caribbean tertiary education. Participants, each with over a decade of experience across multiple institutions, were selected through strict criteria, with anonymity prioritised given the region’s close academic networks. Thematic analysis revealed definitions of group work centred on shared goals, collaboration, and unified outcomes. Challenges in grading highlighted tensions between fairness and assessing both quality and quantity of contributions. Practices included peer evaluation, presentations, and reflective tasks supported by rubrics. Educators discussed group size, formation, and monitoring as strategic choices. Despite issues of unequal contribution, participants affirmed group work’s pedagogical value when carefully designed.
