The transition towards a sustainable future requires the development of advanced battery technologies and efficient management of battery lifecycle. The concept of a ’digital battery passport’ has emerged as a promising approach to enable comprehensive tracking and optimization of battery performance and environmental impact. This paper proposes a new design for the digital battery passport, grounded in the utilization of a graph database. The graph-based model improves the dealing with the complex interconnections and relationships inherent to battery systems, including material composition, manufacturing processes, and end-of-life scenario. The proposed framework outlines the key components and functionalities of the digital battery passport.

摘要
