Exploring Research Avenues on Industrial Symbiosis Networks
摘要
Industrial symbiosis (IS) has emerged as a key strategy within circular economy practices in manufacturing, offering competitive advantages through resource optimization. Consequently, a considerable body of research has been dedicated to examining and investigating diverse aspects of IS, with a continuous increase in scholarly publications on the domain each year. However, practical adoption remains limited across regions and industries. This study presents a literature review which aims to investigate the research related to the creation of IS networks (ISNs), highlighting key trends and gaps. The findings aim to guide future research and support ISNs implementation by identifying enablers, barriers, and assessment methods.
