Structural, Morphological, and Electrochemical Evaluation of Nb2O5 Rods for Supercapacitor Applications
摘要
This study explores the electrochemical performance of Nb2O5 rods coated on a graphite sheet as an electrode material for supercapacitors. The supercapacitive properties of Nb2O5 rods were further evaluated in a 6 M KOH electrolyte. In a 3E configuration, Nb2O5 rods exhibited a remarkable specific capacitance (Cs) of 237 F/g at a current density (CD) of 1 A/g. Additionally, they demonstrated a high Coulombic efficiency of 100% and excellent capacitance withholding of 92.45% after 1500 cycles at 15 A/g. The assembled Nb2O5 symmetric supercapacitor achieved a Cs of 98.6 F/g at 1 A/g, an energy density (ED) of 2.77 Wh/kg, and a power density (PD) of 2258.32 W/kg, while maintaining 99.3% capacitance retaining and 98.4% of Coulombic efficiency observed even after 1000 cycles at 20 A/g.
