Modeling and Simulation of Tsunami Waves Using Neural Networks
摘要
The tsunamiTsunami is among the most horrifying and erratic natural disastersNatural disaster. Modeling is a practical method for forecasting the behavior of complex systems like a tsunami. TsunamisTsunamis are considered complex because they result from the interaction of geological processes, oceanographic conditions, and coastal factors, making their behavior dynamic and difficult to predict. Furthermore, because wave energy varies with water depth, waves can slow down or grow as they travel, and coastal features like bays, cliffs, and barriers can increase, change, or reduce the wave’s strength in unexpected ways, variables like different wave heights, travel distances, and coastal topography make predictions more difficult. In order to effectively anticipate wave behavior, tsunami modeling is complicated since it must take into consideration all of these unknown aspects. When a tsunami occurs, it is employed to forecast the features of the destructive waves as well as their distance in order to safeguard society from catastrophic harm. The mathematical approach used in tsunami wave propagation modeling to achieve the previously indicated parameters is provided in this study. Through numerical modeling, it is possible to comprehend the behavior of tsunamisTsunamis and predict their impact on coastal regions.
