The rapid development of artificial intelligence and its spread in various fields has made journalism a large share of this transformation, especially in the field of data journalism, which relies on analyzing huge amounts of information to extract accurate insights. This study aimed, through the main question, to know to what extent do Iraqi journalists rely on artificial intelligence in developing data journalism, The descriptive survey approach was used to study this problem in an organized manner, as the questionnaire tool was used to collect scientific material to reach accurate results. The research sample consisted of (150) Iraqi journalists, This study reached a set of results, which are that artificial intelligence helps in analyzing huge amounts of complex data, improving the quality of journalistic reports, which enhances the accuracy of news and provides more detailed content, automating routine tasks, which gives journalists more time to focus on in-depth investigations, and uncovering fake news.
