It also underscores the need for a model that incorporates technology and journalism in equal measures, indicating that journalism of the future will be a hybrid model which combines AI prowess and human judgement. The paper ends with suggestions for building ethical principles, continuous skill training for journalists, algorithmic transparency, and resisting to full automation of over journo jobs. This study offers some implications about the digital transformation journey in the Iraqi journalism by highlighting the need for preserving the professional worth while welcoming the technological development.
