Patient Assessment and Selection
摘要
Bone metastasis negatively impacts patients in a manner that is both diverse and wide-ranging. Activities of daily living (ADL) and quality of life (QoL) are significantly affected. Furthermore, metastatic disease is a challenge for many clinicians as it entails a deep dive into every aspect of a patient’s clinical characteristics as well as setting the stage for expectations and their specific prognosis. The gold standard for a clinician is to develop a mental map of how to adequately navigate the task of providing appropriate care to patients with metastatic bone disease (MBD).
