In 1997, we developed and subsequently published the proper anatomical surgical technique to treat twin–twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) [1]. Since then, several important milestones have been reached in the understanding of TTTS, assessment, and management. The purpose of this chapter is to provide an update on the condition, discuss some of its important variations, and present the latest update on its management.
