Techno-Economic Assessment of Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems in Morocco: Case Study in Rural Areas
摘要
This chapter presents a comprehensive techno-economic analysis of hybrid renewable energy systems (HRES) in Morocco, integrating solar, wind, and biomass resources. It highlights regional resource availability, system optimization using tools like HOMER Pro, and explores case studies from rural areas. Emphasis is placed on cost-effectiveness, energy reliability, and environmental benefits. The study also examines the role of hybrid systems in supporting Morocco’s national energy strategy and their potential scalability across MENA countries aiming for low-carbon development.
