All of Creation is made of matterMatter. Therefore, to understand the creation we live in we must understand the physical characteristics of the matterMatter of which it is made. This chapter and the following chapter describe some of the properties of matterMatter from a macroscopic point of view while the final two chapters look at the microscopic properties of matterMatter. There is still much we don’t understand about matterMatter but we are learning more every day. Some of the themes of the chapter are represented in Fig. 13.1.
