Tools such as value stream mapping and process mapping are helpful to improve the delivery of care for the diagnosed patients and empower clinicians and managers. They provide guidance to change how emergency wards manage patients. They support the decision-making process necessary for healthcare improvement and ensure it is logically sound and coherent. In addition to these tools, the drafting of a business case and of a project plan facilitates the implementation of an AI solution.
