It may involve evaluating multiple aspects of developers’ work - designing, debugging, collaborating, or planning tasks. Understanding the impact of changes in tools, processes, and work environments on developer productivity remains a significant challenge in software engineering research. To address this, we developed Prismetrix, a novel approach to assessing how different factors affect developer productivity across multiple dimensions. This method lets organisations track quantitative metrics and qualitative insights into developers’ day-to-day work.
