This chapter presents a network analysis of the citation graph of publications concerning various aspects of Parkinson’s disease. A total of 39,811 publications from 2015 to 2021 are analyzed. We evaluate four classical centrality indices for article citations (In-degree, Eigenvector, Betweenness, and PageRank), two novel centrality indices (Bundle Index and Pivotal Index), as well as the Total Influence Index (TI) with different quota values (0.1%, 0.5%, and 1%). The calculation of indices is carried out for each considered year. A comparative analysis of the values of various indices and an examination of the dynamics of index changes over the years are presented. To assess the independent significance of articles, a citations graph is used from which citations of works containing at least one author citing their own work or that of a co-author were excluded. The analysis identified citation leaders and evaluated the dynamics of changes in centrality indices over different years.

摘要
