Charting a Path Toward a Responsible and Human-Centered AI Future
摘要
In the early days of artificial intelligence (AI), it was seen as solving math problems; AI became more evolved. Eminent human-like entities demonstrate significant progress in AI. In both expertise and form, a clever data machine, athletes fall nearly unbeatable and almost like an omniscient coach. With the evolution of AI, the wind is moving in several directions. Some AI concepts are just noise, some are just the light of day, and some possibilities are clouded. In the meantime, in an increasingly confusing world of prototypes, policies that support responsible AI development are few and far between. If AI development does not embrace a human-centered society, the arguments for rejecting it will soon be forgotten. This document asks governments and other stakeholders to take steps now and in the future that will lead to the responsible development and use of AI. By showing a discrete approach in which AI will function as a tool for individuals in the world, these suggestions provide a path forward, better than the confusion of change. These steps stand for reasons of dry calculus, interest, and historical consequences. Reinforcing trust in its potential benefits will go a long way toward reducing AI risks. AI is not one-size-fits-all, and there is no single plan or list of recommendations that collectively allow for a few adjustments. All actors will require responsive attitudes. A full hands-on environment of stakeholders will be both sensible and important. As part of a much larger cultural and civil improvement, getting AI right is essential, as it may be our last chance.
