Exploration, Learning, and Change: Virtual Ecological Games as Innovative Tools for Environmental Education

This article explores the significance of virtual ecological games in the context of environmental education at the National University of Education (UNAE). The methodology adopts a qualitative approach, incorporating the pedagogical principles of collaborative work with students through a series of activities such as cooperative games, educational escape games, and digital content projects. This approach fosters critical thinking, awareness, environmental education, leadership, technological skills, and the relevance of environmental education in the digital age among UNAE students. The article’s findings highlight how virtual ecological games constitute a meaningful educational strategy for students by exploring emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities associated with this innovative form of education.
