The aim of this article is to analyze the evolution of macro-policy recommendations on artificial intelligence and their coverage and implementation in Latin America, through a comparative case study analysis of eight countries (N = 8) in the years 2022 and 2025. The results show that the number of initiatives in this area has increased between 2022 and 2025, and this difference is statistically significant with p < .001. Furthermore, there has been a clear growing interest in public governance, science and technology and Economy and Digital Economy through. However, it is still necessary to expand coverage in sectors such as employment, investment, finance, health, and education.
