Digital Revolution in Pharmaceutical Industry: A Network Analysis of Industry 5.0 Technologies
摘要
The pharmaceutical industry is experiencing significant transformation through digital technologies (DT), with Industry 5.0 representing a paradigm shift toward human-centric and sustainable manufacturing. This study presents a network analysis of scientific literature on DT in pharmaceuticals, examining the implementation of Industry 5.0 concepts and identifying research gaps. Through systematic review of 1,410 articles from Scopus (2018–2025), the analysis shows that research on Industry 5.0 in pharmaceuticals remains in early stages. The network analysis identifies “Digitalization,” “COVID-19,” “Nanotechnology,” and “Artificial Intelligence” as dominant concepts. Research gaps exist in the social, psychological, economic, and regulatory domains of Industry 5.0 implementation. This implies certain opportunities for scholars to contribute to understanding the application and impact of Industry 5.0 technologies in this vital sector, particularly in the areas of technological integration, regulatory compliance, and operational optimization.
