This paper focuses on exploratory pressurized spray rack (PSR) experiments for a double wythe brick wall. While there exist scholarships on wind driven rain and hygrothermal performance, the goal of this work was to add an understanding of PSR wall performance to inform hygrothermal model design. A series of tests with different flow rates, pressures, and durations were implemented on a large-scale brick wall. The selected conditions demonstrated the utility of time domain reflectometry moisture content sensors and potential use of infrared thermography in observing interior water ingress. The results of this experiment will be used to inform hygrothermal modelling and develop future PSR test sequences for projects with porous materials.
