The construction industry is characterized by a high-stress environment requiring professionals with good resilience to cope. However, the measurement of resilience qualities that enable construction professionals to cope with workplace stress remains unclear. Hence, the study investigates the resilience types and qualities construction professionals possess. Based on the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, 150 questionnaires were purposely distributed to professionals working on construction sites. 117 questionnaires were returned and valid for analysis, representing a 78% response rate. The data was analysed using percentages and quartiles. The result shows that construction professionals possessed the following types of resilience: psychological/mental, emotional, social and physical. In addition, a significant portion of construction professionals can cope with the demanding nature of construction projects. The study concluded that there is a need for continuous support and development programs aimed at fostering resilience in construction professionals to maintain productivity and reduce burnout in the long term.
