The Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) integrates advanced digital technologies into industries, transforming traditional processes through automation, data exchange, and smart systems. In construction, robotics plays a key role in this transformation by enhancing efficiency, safety, and sustainability. This study aims to analyze the benefits of robotics in the construction industry. A questionnaire was utilised, and a quantitative research approach was adopted. A literature review identified 15 key benefits associated with the adoption of robotics in construction. Purposive sampling was used to select 270 professionals from the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry in the Greater Accra Region. These professionals included structural engineers, architects, quantity surveyors, project managers, and site engineers, all of whom are members of their respective professional bodies, such as the Ghana Institute of Engineers, the Ghana Institute of Architects, and the Ghana Institution of Surveyors. The study found that the benefits of adopting robotics in the building construction industry can be categorized into three main areas: managerial benefits, operational performance benefit, and project efficiency and sustainability benefits. Based on these findings, the study recommends that policymakers encourage collaborative initiatives involving industry players, technology developers, and research institutions. Such partnerships can facilitate knowledge sharing and drive the development of robotics solutions tailored to the unique challenges of the construction sector. This study contributes to the body of knowledge on the benefits of adopting robotics in the building construction industry in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.
