From Logic to Philosophy
摘要
I’ve been studying and researching the work of some of the greatest logicians of the XX century, including their philosophical implications, for many years. As usual in the professional publications, one must leave personal relationships aside, to concentrate in their achievements. Here I try to cover that more personal side, to explain, to some degree, how and why my interest in those logicians started and evolved. At the same time, I'll try to point out the way in which some important philosophers were inspired by logic to try to reach their goals. Thus, this last chapter, written especially for this compilatory volume, may be seen as a complement to my many publications on that field, and very especially to this book.
