The laser-driven ablation processes and the ablation pressure for implosion have been described in Chap. 13 . In this Chapter, fusion gain, ablative acceleration, direct-drive target physics, indirect-drive- target physics, and alternative concepts (electron and ion fast ignition and shock ignition) are described, together with recent achievements of integrated laser fusion experiments. The laser fusion concept and the related issues are also presented. Uniform irradiation technology and the hydrodynamic instabilities related to the laser fusion are described in the following Chapters.

摘要

The laser-driven ablation processes and the ablation pressure for implosion have been described in Chap. 13 . In this Chapter, fusion gain, ablative acceleration, direct-drive target physics, indirect-drive- target physics, and alternative concepts (electron and ion fast ignition and shock ignition) are described, together with recent achievements of integrated laser fusion experiments. The laser fusion concept and the related issues are also presented. Uniform irradiation technology and the hydrodynamic instabilities related to the laser fusion are described in the following Chapters.
