In this chapter, we explore the interactions among the fundamental degrees of freedom within a many-body system. We begin by examining the electron gas, which is composed of point-like particles. Next, we analyse the interactions between nucleons as an example of interactions among entities with internal structures. We also introduce the concept of three-body forces, and more generally, many-body forces. Finally, we discuss the effective interactions that occur between atoms and molecules.

摘要

In this chapter, we explore the interactions among the fundamental degrees of freedom within a many-body system. We begin by examining the electron gas, which is composed of point-like particles. Next, we analyse the interactions between nucleons as an example of interactions among entities with internal structures. We also introduce the concept of three-body forces, and more generally, many-body forces. Finally, we discuss the effective interactions that occur between atoms and molecules.
