The settlement of a new inhabitant produces not only a deficit (TD) in the energy balance of a district’s biological organization, which must be compensated with a bionomic-protective service (PRT) but also a TD in the economic balance because the activities related to the landscape apparatus and minimum living space have costs linked to the operation of the corresponding areas. Proportioning the basic estimate mentioned to the excursus from BTC = 2.5 up to 9.5 Mcal/m2/a (current range of BTC in forests), the value of a forest plot can vary from €42 to €160 /m2. It is also possible to estimate a plot of cultivated land by observing a range of BTC for meadows and crops from 0.5 to 2.4 Mcal/m2/yr, so the value of an agricultural plot can vary from 8.40 at €40.3/m2. Urban planning remains the dominant discipline, even beyond inhabited centers. On the opposite, the clinical-diagnostic criterion requires the intervention of an ecologist, who establishes any bionomic-landscape syndromes in progress before considering new possible transformations. 摘要

The distribution of average BTC values (landscape apparatuses) in the major sets of landscape systems in the most important Western European nations, with a gradient from the South (Spain) to the North (UK) is add as the upper-level framework. Territorial planning could be a way for therapeutic rehabilitation and care: unfortunately, traditional land use planning scheme lacks of historical investigations and of systemic contributions.
