This chapter looks into how human resources management and cybersecurity overlap by combining their approaches. First, we carried out a literature review to find out how academic research combines HR-frameworks and cybersecurity. We then studied three widely known HR frameworks: Harvard’s, Warwick’s, and Ulrich’s HR models, and after that compared them to NIST’s newest cybersecurity framework (CSF 2.0), identifying areas where cybersecurity aspects involve HR. The analysis shows that HR is involved in all the CSF 2.0 functions: Govern, Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond and Recover. Based on our findings, we suggest that organizations should combine their cybersecurity framework and the HR-framework in order to meet today’s society’s security demands while still keeping the organization’s strategic goals achievable.

摘要
