Introduction
摘要
Signal processing involves extracting information from signals. Signals are everywhere, from the movement of leaves on a tree to the smile on a person’s face; anything that conveys information about our surroundings, our person, or our reality is a signal. Signal processing deals with more prosaic signals, those that can be measured and recorded. Of these signals, those related to our health and bodies are classified as biomedical signals. Even with these restrictions, the number of different kinds of biomedical signals is enormous. A complex system cannot operate without the ability to transfer information between its component systems. The operation of the complex system itself will generate various signals. The human body is a highly complex system composed of numerous intricate subsystems.
