A neutrosophic fuzzy set in addition to the membership and non-membership degrees of an event, uses the neutral degree of the event for describing more uncertain and vague situations. In the case of neutrosophic fuzzy sets, for a set, truth-membership function, indeterminacy-membership function, and falsity-membership function are defined. In such cases, the neutrosophic fuzzy sets can be applied to model the uncertain event.

摘要

The neutrosophic fuzzy sets (NFS) for the first time introduced by (Smarandache in Neutrosophy Neutrosophic Probability: Set, and Logic, American Research Press, Rehoboth, pp. 12–20, [1]), (Smarandache in Infinite Study, [2]). It can be widely used for cases where the evaluations are determined by the experts. As an example, for a claim, an expert may believe that it can be “true”, “no opinion”, and “wrong”. In such cases, the neutrosophic fuzzy sets can be applied to model the uncertain event.
