The artificial intelligence (AI) implementation in the banking sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has upgraded the strategic decision-making processes, operational efficiency, and customer and client’s satisfaction experience. This study examines the findings analysis, challenges, ecosystem involvement and role of relevant stakeholders in the AI implementation in the banking sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Moreover, the study sheds light on the challenges associated with AI adoption in the banking sector, presents involvement in different ecosystem, defines the stakeholders’ role such as different level of management in the banking sector, policymakers, financial advisors, AI experts, cybersecurity expert, FinTech innovators. As the findings suggest the necessity of building up a comprehensive framework for AI adoption, with a focus upon the ethical, regulatory, and operational challenges to ensure sustainable banking services.
